“It is in playing and only in playing that the individual child or adult is able to be creative
and to use the whole personality, and it is only in being creative that the individual
discovers the self.”
Donald Woods Winnicott

Play therapy

Play Therapy gives children a calm, welcoming space where they can work through feelings and experiences at their own pace. Because play is their natural language, it helps them express things they may not yet have words for.

Our Play Therapists build trusting relationships, using toys, art, and imaginative play to help them feel understood, build their confidence, and find new ways to cope with whatever is going on in their worlds. These changes ripple out to family and school, creating lasting impact.

Families come to us for many reasons — big emotions, changes at home, school pressures, worries, or past experiences that continue to affect daily life. Play Therapy offers an effective support that helps children feel more settled, connected and able to thrive.
We offer a small number of funded spaces as well as paid for spaces for Play Therapy.
