Many adult mental health problems are rooted in childhood. At With Kids we use Play Therapy to intervene early. We help children work through the difficulties they can’t put into words. So they can express their feelings, understand their emotions, and ultimately lead happier, healthier lives.
We believe in improving the mental health and emotional well-being of children so that each and every child can flourish. When we get this right, children have more opportunities to thrive – in school, in their families, in friendships, in their activities and in their futures. All of our work is rooted in relationships, strengths-based and is child centred. We recognise that all families, regardless of background, can experienced difficulties and we aim to provide a safe space to support children and their parents/carers through difficult times – and make sure every child gets what they need for healthy development.

Trustee with Finance experience
With Kids are looking for someone with experience of financial management and/or accountancy in a small business to serve on the Board of Trustees. We are looking for someone to provide oversight of With Kids financial position to the Board, interpreting financial reports, helping other Board members understand the finances of the organisation and therefore support decision-making. The person appointed will be asked to provide input to pre-Board finance meetings with With Kids staff at least 2 weeks prior to each Board meeting.
We are looking for motivated people from all backgrounds who share our values and are excited about how our services can change lives. Our Trustees are responsible for the governance of our charity, making sure that everything runs smoothly and that we are making the biggest difference we possibly can.
