Many thanks to the fantastic volunteers from Allied Credit who helped us paint the building.  Here they are collecting their certificates congratulating them on all their hard work.

No matter how much time you have available, from a few hours to a few days, why not think about becoming involved in our project? Your contribution will be greatly appreciated by everyone involved in the project no matter how much or how little time you can spare. If you or the company you work for would like to become involved in volunteering in any way, we would love to hear from you. Of course as we are working with vulnerable children and families all our volunteers will complete an Enhanced Disclosure check.

Our work is still at an early stage of development but over the next few months we hope to develop a wide range of volunteering opportunities which will be backed up with full training and support.

Most importantly we aim to make volunteering in any of our activities rewarding, meaningful and above all else good fun.

Volunteers from Marks and Spencer's were a huge help with a variety of jobs including decorating, mail out and popcorn-making for our cinema night. Thank you ladies.

Schools support

We need help to support our work in schools including assistance in running groups in art, music, sport and dance. If you have a particular interest or skill which you think would benefit children we would be delighted to hear from you. We are always looking to introduce new approaches to working with children and are open to new ideas. If this describes you please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Volunteers Pool

Over the course of the year we plan to run a number of events particularly around Christmas and the summer holidays. If you would like to help out at any of our events why not join our  mailing list? That way you will be kept up to date about what’s going on at With Kids and also have the opportunity to get involved when you are available.

Home Support

It is our aim to provide children whatever support they require where and they need it. This could mean a diverse range of activities from helping a family to redecorate their house to befriending a child.
