Buy items on eBay to raise funds for With Kids

ebayBuying items on eBay is the perfect way to make a difference while doing what you do every day on eBay.  Whether you're an avid reader and want to buy a good book or doting grandparent looking to buy toys for your grandchildren, there’s something for everyone.

Here are some items that are currently for sale on eBay to raise vital funds for With Kids.

You can find the With Kids Ebay Page here.

Don't forget Gift Aid

Gift Aid is one of the easiest ways to make your donation tax effective. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, With Kids will receive an extra 28p from the Government.

Simply tick the Gift Aid box for charity.  Provided you pay more in UK income or capital gains tax than you are asking charities to claim back in each tax year, MissionFish* will collect the Gift Aid from the Government and pass it on to With Kids.

Donate your unwanted toys and goods

All items donated will be used to support With Kids.  We are always looking for donations.  Here are a few ideas of items that you could donate to With Kids.

Books (new and used)

Toys (new and gently used)

Clothing (new with label attached or vintage)

Antiques

Camping Equipment

To make a donation, please contact Bob Leck on Telephone 0141 550 5770

Selling’ items on eBay for With Kids

If you wish to sell your unwanted item on eBay for With Kids , you can decide exactly what percentage of your final selling price you’d like to give to our cause, and what percentage you would like for yourself.

Earn fee credits

Every time you list an item for With Kids, you will get a fee credit on your basic insertion and final value fees equal to the percentage you donate. So if you donate 50% of your selling price to a charity, eBay will waive 50% of your fees.

That is not all. eBay will provide a fee credit on your basic insertion and final value fees equal to the percentage you donate every time you list an item for With Kids.

It is seen by everyone!  eBay for Charity listings are the same as any other eBay listing, except for the blue and yellow  Ebay for Charity ribbon in search results and your chosen charity’s mission statement and logo in your listing. This means your listing can be seen by everyone who searches through eBay.co.uk.  It’ll also get extra visibility through the eBay for Charity pages.

It is the perfect way to make a difference – while doing what you do every day on eBay, whether you're a fishing enthusiast selling angling gear or a big business trading electronics.

MissionFish is a registered charity (No. 1110538) that helps other charities raise funds online. In late 2005, eBay invited MissionFish to help build a programme which could offer the eBay.co.uk community the chance to support charities when buying and selling on eBay.

MissionFish offers invaluable support to eBay in many areas: providing the technology that makes eBay for Charity possible, certifying charities to participate in the eBay for Charity programme, collecting donations from eBay sellers, claiming Gift Aid on those gifts, and distributing donations and Gift Aid to the benefiting charities.
