Corporate Partnerships

There are many ways that your business can work with With Kids, all of which provides us with hugely valuable funds and resources supporting our work in Glasgow’s east end community.

We believe that partnerships should be mutually beneficial and make an active contribution to your business objectives as well as the increasingly important area of corporate social responsibility.  Our Fundraiser will work closely with you to identify how best your company can do that, be that through fundraising, supporting our events, volunteering or assisting us with services.

Charity of the Year

Some companies choose to nominate With Kids as their Charity of the Year.  This offers a focussed way of giving that offers benefits to both your company and With Kids.  We will work closely with you to develop a partnership strategy to both suit your business and corporate social responsibility objectives.

Your business will also be assigned a corporate fundraiser who will provide both support and a single point of contact.  As well as offering advice and ideas, she can provide presentations to staff, bring groups into With Kids, meet regularly with your team and ensure that we are doing all we can to provide you with the tools you need.

Involve Employees:  Employee Fundraising and Volunteering

Getting your team involved in fundraising is a fun and rewarding way to boost morale and create a positive team spirit. As well as encouraging team development within departments and offices, it’s a great way of generating goodwill with customers and your local community.

Volunteering

There are many opportunities for individuals or groups of staff to support With Kids by giving us your time, either on a one off basis or a short term regular commitment. For example, you could:

 • Be part of ‘steal your staff’ our corporate Christmas collection and gift wrapping initiatives

 • Assisting with fundraising team at events or with administration staff in the office.

If your colleagues would like to volunteer on a longer term basis, you can find all the information you need in the volunteering section of this website.

Advertising and Sponsorship:  Sponsorship

With Kids organises several high-level events throughout the year, all of which offer potential sponsors the opportunity for excellent brand awareness amongst their target audience.

Join our Payroll Giving Scheme:  Give As You Earn

Give As You Earn (GAYE) is a really easy way to donate to With Kids and it costs you less to give us more!

How It Works

Each time you are paid, a donation is deducted by your payroll department before tax is calculated.  This means that you will not have to pay the income tax normally due to the Inland Revenue.

In practice this means the donation is boosted by at least 25%.  And, so, if you choose to give £2.00 a month, With Kids will receive £2.50.  You can choose how much to give from your salary each payday.

Benefits of GAYE

Convenience – it only takes minutes to arrange so is a great hassle free way of giving

Affordable – even the small contribution provides valuable regular income

Tax deductable – making your donation go even further

Flexible – your payroll deductions can be adjusted or stopped at any time

It’s great for With Kids – it provides us with regular income which soon adds up

Does my employer offer this scheme?

Ask your employer’s payroll department if they offer GAYE. If they don’t, suggest they start one – it is easy and inexpensive to run.  Please let us know if you require help on staring a GAYE scheme.

For more information about GAYE, please contact us on 0141 550 5770
